Saturday Spinning Workshop

This Saturday (18th) we had our monthly spinning workshop at Knitwise and all went well even if there was some misbehaving from one of the wheels! Amanda and Anne arrived and spun like rumpelstiltskins and produced at least two skeins of yarn each.

Stash Storage Solutions

So what do you do with all the yarn you have in waiting?  Do you like to leave it out so you can drool over all those colours and maybe give a skein a squeeze as you pass?  Or is your wool in a place that it's best covered up?  Do you like baskets or plastics?

I've been surfing the web for some storage ideas for yarn and realised that the yarn storage question is a hot potato amongst bloggers and knittting sites so I've taken some ideas from the best to pass onto you.

    Learn the basic steps in crochet in a fun environment! By the time the class ends you will be able to chain, double crochet and treble leaving you ready to start your first project!

    For the class you will need a crochet hook and appropriate yarn but don't worry if you haven't got these as you can buy them on the day and get 10% discount!!!

    The class costs £10, and includes tea or coffee. Places are limited so please phone or pop into the shop to book your place.
