These day long events are a pure treat for anyone who loves their crafts. Myra will be on hand to help you with anything that has you stumped in your current project. You can bring your knitting, crochet, socks, whatever, she’ll give you a hand and even provide tea and cake for a day doing just what you love.

Introduction to Weaving
Bee will take you through the basics of weaving and show you different techniques. You’ll be able to hire a loom for the day for £10 which is refundable if you buy a loom. It’s a wonderful inspiring day with an excellent teacher

Learn to Knit
Why not come along and learn this versatile and fascinating old craft, or rekindle skills you started to learn years ago! During the session you will learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. We will start work on your first project and by the end of the seesion you will have learnt all the skills needed to work towards creating your own set of 4 coasters.
For this course you will need to bring your own 4mm knitting needles and double kitting (DK) yarn. We would recommend a cotton yarn, although others can be used. If you don’t have these items, you can buy them on the day and get a 10% discount on your purchases.

Meadow Stitch Workshops
Clare Hassett’s workshops are designed to help you feel more comfortable with your sewing machine Her Heart Bunting workshop uses Liberty print fabric and even if you are a complete beginner she will take you step by step through the process and you’ll be able to create something beautiful.
All materials are included and Clare can even supply a sewing machine if you don’t have one.

3D Felted Vessell Workshops
Ally Matthew’s felt making workshop will take you from the fibre to a felted bowl. You can use solid colours or blend your colours to create a unique vessel – the techniques you learn will get you started in making all kinds of felted items.
All materials are included

In this workshop we will learn to spin from sheep to skein.
We will discuss fleece preparation, carding and blending fibre and you will spin your own skein of yarn

Following a Pattern
This course is designed who have mastered the basics of knitting and are now ready to take the next step. Do you know the difference between m1 and inc1 – does the difference matter?! Learn these skills and more to enable you to interpret all the information and instructions given on a pattern which will lead on to you being able to complete your project from a pattern.
For this course you will need to bring your own yarn and appropriate needles and any patterns that you would like to have help with or start work on. We will provide you with a handout to remind you of what you have learnt during the course.
Ever felt that your sewing up isn’t as good as your knitting? Learn the tricks of the trade to give your projects a professional looking finish. Start from casting on and moving on to learn how to join seams using various different methods (and the best time to use each of them). Learn how to graft shoulders and block your finished piece.
For this course you will need to bring your own knitting needles, yarn and knitters needles (for sewing up) as well as complete some homework pieces to bring to the course to ensure you get the most out of the session. In addition you can also bring along any ‘problem’ items for specific advice.
Why not come along to this workshop if you have already learnt the basics of crochetting and would like to use your skills to create embellishements for your other projects. We will be using a variety of stitches and colours to learn how to make flowers of different shapes and sizes.
For this course you will need to bring your own crochet hooks and a variety of colours and textures of yarn.
